๐ฅ Nissan just put the future of the Z Kaze in enthusiastsโ hands, saying strong enough public demand could turn this T-top concept into a production car.
The Z Kaze debuted at ZCON as a modern tribute to Nissanโs open-roof Z heritage and the Japanese tuner culture that exploded in the 1990s.
Its defining feature is a custom-engineered T-top setup that gives the current Z the open-air character many fans associate with the Z32 300ZX.
Nissan finished the car in Pacific Teal and added a vented carbon-fiber hood, widened fenders and a custom carbon aero package for a proper period-inspired tuner stance.
Even better, those wheels are authentic restored 18-inch NISMO LMGT2s measuring 10 inches wide up front and 11 inches out back, sourced from a long-discontinued original set.
Underneath, Nissan fitted an extensively upgraded NISMO suspension setup rather than treating the Kaze as a purely cosmetic show car.
