🤯 Volvo let a 4-year-old drive an 18-ton truck… just to prove a point. Back in 2015, Volvo Trucks handed four-year-old Sophie a specially built remote control and let her command a full-size Volvo FMX through a brutal construction-site obstacle course. The remote gave her control of the steering, accelerator, gearshift and brakes while the test was carried out in a secured gravel pit in Serbia. The 540-horsepower FMX 8x6 was sent through deep water, steep terrain, obstacles and even a full 360-degree roll down a slope. The entire stunt was designed to demonstrate how tough the FMX was and showcase features including Automatic Traction Control, which automatically engages the front axle when additional grip is needed.
