Iman Shumpert still isn’t over Kevin Durant joining the Warriors after Golden State eliminated OKC in 2016. Shumpert compared KD’s decision to teaming up with the same people who just robbed you: “Me and Evan come in there, and we rob your house.” “Next year you come hang with us while we go rob Brendan.” Durant joined a Warriors team that had just erased Oklahoma City’s 3-1 lead in the Western Conference finals and was coming off a 73-win season with Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green. Golden State went on to win the next two championships, with Durant taking home Finals MVP in both 2017 and 2018. KD has heard enough of the criticism. “Pull ya panties up, you lucky you got one.” The Warriors run ended years ago, but the argument over how Durant got his two championships clearly has not. #kevindurant #imanshumpert #nbatalk #nbamemes #nbadebate Follow duranthighlights for more!
