The Nashville Predators defeat the Tampa Bay Lightning 3-2 in OT during a preseason game at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee on September 22, 2026. (Photos by Kindell Buchanan/Williamson Herald) My third NHL game in the books! Man, I love hockey and I really want to be good at shooting it, but I have to keep reminding myself that it’s going to take some time and patience to learn and improve. It’s such a fast sport and can easily be dangerous if you’re not fully paying attention. My first game, my lens got hit twice and I WAS fully paying attention 😂 it’s just that fast. But last night, no lenses were harmed in the making of these photos! Just a girl mumbling under her breath when she missed something and she missed a lot of somethings 🙂‍↕️ But I’m so excited for the season and to watch my work get better and better! #nashvillepredators #tampabaylightning #nhl #hockeyphotography #photojournalism williamsonherald
