Lmaooo 😭😭 Nav emerged from Toronto’s tight-knit music scene, building a reputation as a producer before stepping fully into the spotlight as an artist. Born to Punjabi immigrant parents, he is of Indian descent, making him a notable South Asian figure in mainstream hip-hop and trap. He built early credibility working alongside The Weeknd and Drake’s camp, crafting beats that carried that moody, atmospheric Toronto sound. His self-titled debut mixtape in 2017 introduced his signature deadpan delivery, a flat, almost detached style that became his trademark. Songs like “Beibs in the Trap” with Travis Scott pushed him further into the mainstream. Projects like “Perfect Timing” with Metro Boomin and “Bad Habits” showed his range, blending trap production with melodic hooks. Nav’s sound leans heavily on dark, minimal instrumentals paired with introspective, sometimes materialistic lyrics about fame, loyalty, and relationships. #rapmusic #nav #india #funny
