This morning, @LasVegasFD welcomed Ladder Truck 4 to its fleet with a traditional Push-In Ceremony at Fire Station 4! 🚒 Dating back to the 1800s, the tradition began when fire crews had to physically push horse-drawn wagons into the station. Today, #LVFR keeps it alive as a symbol of teamwork, history and service. 💪🔥 Mayor Shelley Berkley and Mayor Pro Tem Olivia Diaz joined firefighters for the ceremony and helped push the new truck into the station. Before the push-in, Las Vegas Fire & Rescue Chief Fernando Gray asked his firefighters to commit to three things with the $1.6 million truck: • Take care of it • Train on it • Take pride in it Watch the video for highlights from the Push-In Ceremony at Fire Station 4! 🚒
