We pass through so many versions of ourselves in a single lifetime. We begin with innocence, then slowly gather dreams, responsibilities, relationships, memories, achievements, disappointments and questions. With time, we become people our younger selves may never have imagined.
What feels permanent in one chapter often becomes a memory in the next. Childhood turns into nostalgia. Youth gives way to reflection. The things that once demanded all our attention begin to matter less, while quiet moments we hardly noticed can become the ones we remember most.
Maybe life is not only about moving ahead. Maybe it is about meeting the same existence again and again through different ages, emotions and ways of understanding the world. Our appearance changes, our priorities change, and everything around us keeps moving, yet something within us seems to continue through every stage.
Perhaps that is part of what makes life meaningful. Not that any chapter lasts forever, but that each one carries...
