Greatness recognizes greatness. Pop icons Taylor Swift and Madonna embraced at the VMAs on Sunday in a meeting of two of the most influential musicians of the last century. Madonna opened the show and Swift will be honored with the inaugural Artist Director Honors VMA before a medley performance of her songs from her most recent album The Life of a Showgirl. #vmas #taylorswift #madonna #music #mtv
