A reporter captured this aerial footage of the ‘hanging village’ at an altitude of 7,546ft in north China's Shanxi Province. Wanghuagou Village has long been known as the ‘hanging village’ because it was built on a cliff more than 328ft high. The village's houses are mainly stone-and-wood structures, with the front half of each supported in midair by wooden posts and the rear half embedded in the cliff rock. This forms a village stretching about 1640ft and creates a unique ‘sky street’ spectacle. #china #village #asia
