Israeli Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon made an unusual gesture after Benjamin Netanyahu's speech, attempting to hand the Starlink terminal Netanyahu had displayed to an Iranian diplomat. The Iranian representative did not respond and turned away as Danon offered the device, saying it could help Iranians access information and 'get their freedom.' Netanyahu had held up the Starlink terminal during his address and said he would leave it at the UN for the Iranian delegation, framing it as a way to bypass internet restrictions in Iran. The exchange came after Iran's months-long internet restrictions earlier this year, which were officially lifted in late May. #iran #israel #un #news #world
