SpaceX's newest generation Starship rocket reached orbit for the first time, despite an unexpected engine shutdown mid-flight, and deployed a new batch of Starlink satellites. ⁣ ⁣ After the engine problem, the mission was cut short and ended with a controlled but fiery touchdown in the Pacific. ⁣ ⁣ Using thrusters the rocket was maneuvered to hit the ocean with its nose to the sky.
