Gunmen killed at least 27 people and wounded 26 others in two separate mass shootings near Johannesburg and Cape Town over the weekend, according to police. The first attack occurred on Saturday night when eight armed men stormed a tavern west of Johannesburg, killing 17 patrons and injuring 15. Hours later, a second shooting at an establishment near Cape Town left 10 dead and 11 wounded.⁣ ⁣ South African authorities reported that no suspects have been arrested in either case as law enforcement agencies launch manhunts across both provinces. The twin massacres mark the latest surge of violent crime in South Africa, where persistent gun violence and gang-related activity remain major public security challenges.⁣ ⁣ #SouthAfrica #Johannesburg #CapeTown⁣
