The race for California governor is heating up, with voters set to choose a successor to Governor Newsom this November. Republican candidate Steve Hilton has been focused on campaigning on lowering the cost of living, cutting taxes and regulations, and changing the way California government operates. He joined FOX26 on Great Day and talked with Kim Stephens about his plans for California. When asked about California's High-Speed Rail project, Hilton said, "I've been driving up and down the 99 for years and we see this monument to the waste and failure and incompetence of our government.
