What Happens To Your Body When You Dance šŸ‘‡ I've always felt like there's something different about electronic music and the way it makes you feel. Now there's some pretty interesting research looking at why. A new study at London's Drumsheds tracked around 60 people through guided breathing, movement, and electronic music sessions. Researchers found an 18.5% increase in heart rate variability during the calmer parts of the sessions, along with participants reporting less anxiety and more joy and connection. And during the dancing portion, participants reached around 75% of their heart rate reserve, which is actually a pretty serious workout. I've spent enough time on dance floors to know that feeling.
