Two wristwatches from Rolex hit the auction block this September in our #SothebysParis online Fine Watches sale. Leading the group is the Rolex Sea-Dweller ‘Comex’, Ref. 1665, a timepiece from the maison’s innovative era of collaboration with the world of professional diving. As the first Sea-Dweller reference, it features a helium escape valve, designed to protect the watch’s crystal from damage during deep-sea saturation diving. Also joining the sale is the Rolex Ref. 116749SABLNR GMT-Master II, distinguished by its blue and black sapphire and diamond-set bezel. It shares the same case and movement as the Ref. 116710, better known among collectors as the ‘Batman.’ Bid now on this and more at the link in bio ahead of the auction’s close on 7 October at 14:00 CEST.
