Fun Fact: Legend says the temple was founded in 592 by Prince Shotoku-taishi, who enshrined Buddha’s remains within the pagoda and the pagoda’s central wooden pillar acts as a pendulum, swaying and stabilizing the structure during earthquakes 🇯🇵 Such a cool street and temple to witness during night time!
