A lot of people are blaming Patrick Mahomes 😭🤔 This controversial play came in the third quarter of Chiefs vs Chargers in 2025, with Kansas City trailing 13–6. On 3rd-and-8, Patrick Mahomes scrambled right for 15 yards. As he approached the sideline, Chargers cornerback Donte Jackson appeared to ease up, seemingly anticipating Mahomes going out of bounds. Instead, Mahomes stayed in bounds, lowered his left shoulder and knocked Jackson to the ground. There was no penalty on the play. (nfl)
