Designed by Shanghai-based studio X+Living, Shenzhen Zhongshuge is built around a spectacular 37 meters long sculptural bookshelf that twists through the space like a giant spiral staircase. Conceived as a metaphor for the passage of time, the installation turns an everyday bookstore into something closer to an architectural illusion.
