Devon Dampier is getting a lot more out of his throws this season, even when the pocket gets uncomfortable.
Through four games, he’s produced 106 more passing yards on 26 fewer attempts than at this point last year. He’s also thrown five touchdowns under pressure, with PFF grading him as the fourth-best quarterback in those situations.
Give Utah’s receivers their share of the credit, too. They’re making plays downfield, and Dampier is giving them opportunities even when the protection breaks down. There’s plenty left to clean up, but this passing game is giving Utah fans real reasons to raise their expectations.
