This is one of my mom’s recipes and honestly, one of the easiest ways I’ve found to make kheema! It’s something I’ve been loving during postpartum because it’s simple, comforting, and an easy way to get some protein into your meal without making anything complicated. It’s also great for kids because the kheema is so soft and easy to mix into rice — and when it’s all mixed together, they don’t even realize they’re eating it. 🤭 Method 1. Add the kheema to a pressure cooker along with salt, turmeric, and some water. Pressure cook for 7–8 whistles, or until the kheema is about 90% cooked. 2. In a separate pan, heat some oil. Add the sliced onions and slit green chilies and sauté for just a minute. The onions don’t need to be browned or cooked down here. 3. Add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté until fragrant. 4.
