Today would have been Phil Hartman’s 78th birthday. 🙏🕊️ Remembered as one of comedy’s most versatile and beloved talents, Phil Hartman served as the indispensable backbone of Saturday Night Live (1986–1994), voiced indelible characters like Troy McClure and Lionel Hutz on The Simpsons (1991–1998), and brought sharp wit to television as Bill McNeal in NewsRadio (1995–1998). On the big screen, he showcased his effortless charm by co-writing and appearing in Pee-wee’s Big Adventure (1985), leading the comedy Houseguest (1995), stealing scenes in Jingle All the Way (1996), and delivering memorable final performances in Small Soldiers (1998) and the English dub of Kiki’s Delivery Service (1998). #philhartman #adamsandler #chrisfarley #nostalgia #mikemyers
