It was a big weekend for favored Buffalo football teams trailing at half, then getting a big day from their D & standout RB in the second, and ending up earning a Big Dub.
Next up: Canisius (2-2, 1-0 Monsignor Martin Athletic Association) will host St. Francis (4-0, 1-0) in the Crusaders’ home opener at 2 p.m. Saturday on Koessler Field at the Robert J. Stransky Memorial Athletic Complex.
It is a rematch of last year’s MMAA final and a showdown of the top two teams in every ranking of WNY programs. It will air on WNYO MyTV Buffalo. Tickets will be available at the CHS reception office during the week.
Students and families interested in CHS Football and the excellence only found in a Jesuit education at Canisius – ranked by Buffalo Business First as the Buffalo area’s “Best Catholic School” and WNY’s top private school in “Best High Schools for Athletes” – can learn more by reserving a spot for our Open House on Sunday, Oct. 18 or Monday, Oct. 19 via
