An important takeaway from this: not all the foods we eat need to be whole. Because…can you imagine life without cheese or chocolate?? But here’s the thing – aiming for most of your diet (~80%) to be made up of whole or minimally processed foods can make a big difference for your health. Here’s an exercise you can do. Try counting how many whole vs ultra processed foods you eat in a day. Not to judge yourself, but to gain some self-awareness and reflect on your eating habits. Maybe you’ll spot an easy opportunity to add one more whole food to your meals (like frozen blueberries in your yogurt? yes please for me 😌) The idea here isn’t to achieve perfection, but instead notice patterns and gain understanding. I hope this helps!! #letstalknutrition #TCMnutrition #nutritionSG #wholefoods #foodfacts
