Before trick-or-treating became mainstream on All Hallows Eve, it went from a night of mischief to a night of festivities. The Bogie Book and other Halloween party planning books were made to keep the young ones from wreaking havoc on the town. These organized events consisted of themed foods, fortunetelling, love matching and scary stories.
