❤️‍🩹 LOOKING BACK: Two years ago, Hurricane Helene unleashed one of the deadliest disasters in North Carolina history. More than 100 people were killed, some communities saw over two feet of rain while thousands of homes and millions of trees were destroyed. Helene brought an enormous amount of tropical moisture into the mountains and ultimately became one of those storms that changed the way a region thinks about weather. #HurricaneHelene #FoxWeather #Weather #History #LookingBack #NorthCarolina
