North Central Fire District has placed a new 2,000-gallon Tactical Water Tender into service, expanding our ability to respond effectively across the District. This apparatus features pump-and-roll capabilities, four-wheel drive, and a front-mounted, joystick-controlled nozzle—allowing firefighters to apply water while in motion. These features make it especially effective for wildland and rural fire incidents. Now housed at Station 57 in the community of Biola, this unit plays a critical role in areas without fire hydrant coverage—functioning as a mobile water supply during emergencies. This addition was made possible in part through a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) administered by Fresno County, helping ensure all communities we serve receive reliable fire protection. Prepared. Equipped. Ready to serve. #NorthCentralFire #CommunitySafety #FireService #PublicSafety #FireApparatus
