The Porsche 908/03 Spyder is no slouch. Powered by a 3-liter flat eight and weighing about 1,200 lbs, Porsche’s No. 12 908/03 took Jo Siffert, Heuer’s first brand ambassador, and Brian Redman to a massive win at the 1970 Targa Florio. A year later at the Nürburgring 1000 km, Siffert’s car suffered an unfortunate issue and was taken out of the race. Still in a fighting spirit, Jo joined Pedro Rodríguez in the No. 1 908/03 and they took home a modest second place. That racing connection carries through to the tagheuer Monaco Gulf.
