Hayley Kiyoko wants to bring more lesbians onto the big screen. 🤩 The singer, novelist and filmmaker has a very specific dream project: a queer pirate movie or series inspired by ‘Pirates of the Caribbean.’ ➡️ “I would love to do a lesbian pirate show or movie — Keira Knightley, but gay,” Kiyoko said. “Very gay and fantastical.” Kiyoko, who made her directorial debut with ‘Girls Like Girls,’ also revealed she wants to bring her second novel, ‘Where There’s Room for Us,’ to the screen. Lili Reinhart also recently revealed she was trying to adapt a novella about lesbian vampires.
