As serious allegations of sexual violence continue to circulate and receive renewed public attention, we are reminded of the importance of believing survivors, understanding consent, creating safe environments to report abuse, and ensuring that concerns are taken seriously and addressed appropriately. Abuse can take many forms, including physical, emotional, sexual, financial, verbal, and digital abuse.
