🐦 Australian magpies swoop cyclists during spring nesting season, and they remember individual faces well enough to target the same riders repeatedly. This one, named Terry, has apparently decided that one cyclist’s helmet is a threat worth dive bombing on every pass. Magpies in Australia injure hundreds of people each year during the August to November swooping window, and road cyclists are among the most common targets because of their speed and helmet shapes.
