I didn’t know post travel depression was real, meaning that I also wasn’t prepared. And this last for years. Even though I’d go on trips every so often, I would forget about the sadness but every time I came back home, the teeling just never went away.
Coming back home felt like I closed this chapter in my life, and that better days are coming - fast. I don’t have the right words to fully describe what this feeling is, but it’s liberating.
Post travel IS a real thing and there is NO right chapter in my life, and that better days are coming fast. I don’t have the right words to fully describe what this feeling is, but it’s liberating.
Never stop fighting the good fight and I promise there’s light at the end of the tunnel. You got this 💪🤍
