How much of what we see is the person, and how much is the image they create? We can change our appearance through makeup, hair, clothing, style. We can reinvent ourselves, create characters, choose what to reveal and what to conceal. These visible layers become part of the persona we present to the world. A face for the public. A role. Sometimes, a mask. But beneath all of them, there is another face. The one that cannot be styled, dressed, or constructed. This work explores that space between transformation and identity, between the image we create and the self that remains underneath. And somewhere between the persona and the person, tension appears.
