🪓 Lumberjacks in South Africa! 🇿🇦 Swipe ➡️ to see NAUAbroad students on their ecological study abroad trip! 🧳 ✈️   📋 While abroad, students assisted in rodent and vegetation surveys, examining how animals and rural communities interact with biodiverse landscapes.   Rodent processing consisted of: 💉 Pricking the rodent for blood 🧫 Collecting morphological data 🦟 And collecting ectoparasites (ticks, mites, fleas, and lice)   🌎 Working alongside local communities, Lumberjacks practiced field research, data collection & analysis, and land-management skills.
