For the past two years the United States has been under the Trump administration, the Department of Homeland Security has been deploying U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents and building detention centers to cities and small communities alike, including Happy Valley. While there are no official reports of ICE on campus, dozens have been detained in Centre County, Moshannon Valley Processing Center just renewed a six-month contract with ICE and Spotlight PA reported an increase in State College Regional Airport being used for ICE flights.
