📚 The Co-operators Read Program with the Kings is carrying on a pretty special legacy as we head into our 21st year of reading in Powell River schools. Today, Kings players were back in classrooms across the community. Some were reading with students, while others were dreaming up stories and brainstorming ideas together. Different classrooms. Different stories. One common thread: literacy. A huge thank you to The Co-operators for your continued support of this incredible program. It’s one of our favourites, and we’re proud to keep bringing Kings players into classrooms year after year. Each week, schools will choose a Reading Hero who will receive a Kings ticket, courtesy of The Co-operators. And there’s plenty more fun ahead, including a pizza party! Here’s to another year of reading, creating, imagining and connecting. Thanks, cooperators_westview , for helping make this program possible for 21 years and counting. #KingsintheCommunity
