I'm running out of things to say at this point. 🤯 This morning was another epic one with my man a.drake21 who came tight on our first Striped Marlin of the day! We quickly released that fish and not long after, I came tight on what I thought was a nice yellowtail until that line started to scope up! (See 5th slide). The second marlin unfortunately succumbed to a long fight and was actually trailing a broken off line that it had been previously gut hooked by. So I made the decision to harvest this amazing fish. So yea, I eat largemouth bass, calico bass and now striped marlin. Come at me... 🤣🤷🏽‍♂️ They are all good eating fish and in the case where their survivability is in question, we should have no issue harvesting any of those popular catch and release cultured fish. 4th marlin of the last two weeks...lots of weeks left in 2026!
