Auburn pulled off a dramatic reverse sweep at Arkansas, rallying from a 2-0 deficit to win its SEC opener 21-25, 23-25, 28-26, 25-19, 15-9, extending the Tigers' winning streak to eight matches.
Arkansas came out rolling, taking the first two sets to seize control of the match. The Razorbacks led 23-22 in the second set on an ace from Belle Patrick, but Arkansas won three of the next four points to close it out 25-23 and take a commanding two-set lead. Auburn finally found its footing in the third, falling behind 17-12 before rallying with a kill from Lauren Dreves and an Arkansas error to pull within two points of a comeback. The Tigers and Razorbacks traded points deep into the set before another Dreves kill, paired with an Arkansas miscue, gave Auburn a 28-26 set win to cut the deficit to 2-1.
