Pike’s attorney told ‘TMZ’, “Christa is critically ill but not in a coma as I understand it.” She was reported unconscious and unable to communicate. Dr. #MarkFowler who administered Pike’s failed execution also presided over another botched attempt back in May. According to legal records, Fowler reportedly had not had a central line in place for 13 years before the scheduled May execution in another case. ______________________________ Due to Pike’s medical condition of a blood-clotting disorder, her attorneys suggested hanging her instead to avoid her ultimately drowning in her own blood.
