#OdellBeckhamJr.’s return with the New York Giants has reportedly ended earlier than expected. The Giants are releasing the 33-year-old, according to NFL Network. Beckham, who was NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and a three-time Pro Bowler during his first stint with New York, couldn’t replicate that form in his late-career homecoming. It was noted that he didn’t make a significant impact on the field in his three regular-season games, totaling just 20 offensive snaps.

The Giants would also have an additional roster spot for receiver
#BraxtonBerrios, who serves as their kickoff and punt returner and is expected to replace Beckham as the No. 4 receiver. Beckham was anticipated to have a promising future after spending the entire last season off to recover from previous injuries before trying out twice for the Giants. He fought to stay on the roster during training camp by participating in all three preseason games. 📸:gettyimages✍🏾:
