SpaceX has officially deployed its first Starlink V3 satellites into orbit and successfully established contact with them for the first time. 🚀🛰️ V3 represents a major step forward for Starlink, with each satellite designed to provide significantly more network capacity than the current generation. At full scale, a single Starship could launch up to 60 V3 satellites, potentially delivering roughly the same network capacity as around 20 Falcon 9 launches. The technology could also play a role in SpaceX’s longer-term AI ambitions, including the proposed Starmind network, which would bring AI computing infrastructure into orbit.
