Surrounded by Iowa politicians, Republican President Donald Trump announced Monday, Sept. 28, from the Oval Office that Mesabi Metallics is planning to invest $15 billion into building a steel mill in Iowa.     According to the White House, the project would support 6,000 construction jobs and 1,750 permanent jobs in Iowa, with steelmaking beginning in 2030.     The steel plant, owned by India-based Essar Group, would change the economic trajectory of "one of the most depressed regions of Iowa," Gov. Kim Reynolds said from the Oval Office.    Tap the link for more details. #iowa #donaldtrump #kimreynolds
