I would recommend prioritizing trips to stay at hotels that offer outsized value for your points! Think Alila and Park Hyatt Maldives, Alila Ventana Big Sur, Miraval, Park Hyatt Los Cabos, Park Hyatt St. Kitts - anything that will definitely be the best deal booking through Hyatt using Hyatt points! And yes, the Sapphire Reserve is expensive, but if you’re getting more value than it’s costing you, who cares? I pay $6k in annual fees every year… that’s a lot of money, but I’m getting way more value than it’s costing me, and the only thing I care about is staying in the green!
