The 6th Annual BMAC Gala opened with a special rendition of MAJOR.’s multi platinum single “Why I Love You,” celebrating the 10 year anniversary of a song that has become part of so many people’s lives, love stories and memories. It was the perfect way to begin an evening rooted in purpose, culture, legacy and celebration. From the very first note, the message was clear. This night was bigger than awards. Bigger than performances. Bigger than any one moment. It was our Love Letter to Black Music. A celebration of the songs that have carried us, the artists who have inspired us, the creators who continue to move culture forward and the legacy we are responsible for protecting for the next generation. Thank you MAJOR. for helping us open the BMAC Gala with so much soul, intention and love. cc: thepurpleagency MD: 1500ornothin #BlackMusicActionCoalition #BMACGALA #MAJOR #WhyILoveYou
