This is what the work looks like when the pipeline becomes the promise. Jamea Kollie, a graduate of Tennessee State University and a participant in the inaugural Music Business Accelerator established at TSU four years ago by Lee Anderson, Lenore Kinder and BMAC, returned to the BMAC Gala stage for a powerful full circle moment. After completing the program, Jamea went on to earn a summer internship in Nashville with The Team. This year, she stood on stage and presented the inaugural BMAC Founders Award to the very leaders who helped create that opportunity. Kevin Shivers, Mallory Smith, Lenora Kinder and Marty Diamond accepted the award on behalf of The Team. This is why we build pipelines. Not just to open doors, but to prepare the next generation to walk through them, grow, lead and one day stand on the same stage as the people who helped make the opportunity possible. From classrooms to boardrooms. Congratulations to The Team, recipients of the inaugural BMAC Founders Award....
