A legendary night for a legendary group. Public Enemy received the 2026 BMAC Social Impact Award, honoring a career built on truth, resistance, culture and using music as a force for change. And the moment got even bigger when hip hop royalty Big Daddy Kane stepped out to surprise Chuck D, Flavor Flav and Public Enemy and present the honor. Two generations of greatness. One stage. One powerful reminder that hip hop has always been bigger than music. It has been a voice. It has been a movement. It has been a weapon for truth. Congratulations to Public Enemy. Your impact is forever. #BlackMusicActionCoalition #PublicEnemy #BMACGALA
