15 years ago today, J. Cole officially checked in with his debut album, ‘Cole World: The Sideline Story’ 🏀 After years spent perfecting his craft through mixtapes like ‘The Warm Up’ and ‘Friday Night Lights,’ Cole introduced himself to the mainstream with the warm, triumphant and introspective sound that would become his signature. Across 18 tracks, he balanced radio-ready hits with vulnerable storytelling, as the album features Drake, Jay-Z, Missy Elliott and Trey Songz. ‘Cole World’ also debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 218K first-week units, earning J. Cole the first No. 1 album of his young career. Where would you rank it in Cole’s catalog? Read and #ReRank our list of J. Cole albums at the LINK IN complexmusic BIO 🔗
