Peter Krause isn’t sure exactly how this happened, but somewhere along the way he became the grown-up. When he looks back and connects the dots, he gets it—but it still feels strange. For example, one plotline in his new series #LineOfFire, in which his character is being no-so-subtly pushed into retirement, struck Krause as maybe too close to home. “I had a little moment of panic,” he admits. “There is this progression of, okay, it’s not your time anymore.” But this is Peter Krause we’re talking about—you don’t just push him out.
