Pride Plaza is looking better than ever. Portland’s Pride Plaza, at SW 12th and Harvey Milk Street, was initially a temporary spot for patrons of surrounding businesses to gather outdoors during the COVID-19 pandemic. Federal investments, approved under the Biden administration, have allowed the plaza to become a permanent fixture. On Saturday, the plaza celebrated what was described as a “grand reopening” to celebrate completed improvements.
