The 2026 Portland Marathon route will close select streets to traffic in multiple quadrants of the city Sunday morning — downtown, Northwest, Southwest, South, Southeast and Northeast — as thousands of runners wind through some of the city’s iconic neighborhoods.
Nearly 12,000 runners took part in last year’s event, which includes the signature 26.2-mile route, as well as shorter distances. The half-marathon race begins at 7 a.m., and the marathon and 10K begin at 7:15 a.m. Race organizers say streets may be shut down to traffic before this time.
