If you needed an excuse to bake some cookies today, here you go. October 1st is National Homemade Cookie Day! Like many of these “national holidays,” it gives us an excuse to highlight some of our cuts in our print shop. For today, Howard letterpress printed a photo engraving, made in the 1950s, that depicts a hand pulling a cookie out of a jar. This was printed with pink rubber base ink using our Washington hand press. #SacHistoryMuseum #homemadecookies #cookies #museumtok #printing
